With English Wine Week wrapped up, it has been a fantastic week to look back on in the Press for Digby Fine English.
Our Digby 2014 Vintage Rosé has been awarded the Trophy and Gold medal for Best Sparkling Rosé in the country! The Trophy was presented by Mark Crumpton-Hadleigh from WineGB Sponsor, Bruni Erben to Trevor during English Wine Week and is currently on display at our Tasting Room in Arundel. Tasting notes from the judging panel on the 2014 Vintage Rosé: “Elegant red fruits on the nose with deceptively powerful weight on the palate. Rich, toasty and concentrated with lots of character and complexity.”
Both the 2013 Vintage Reserve Brut and Non Vintage Brut were also award Gold Medals in the 2021 WineGB Awards, continuing Digby’s long line of champion wine in English Sparkling.
Digby Leander Pink NV Brut has also been in the press recently. Fiona Beckett, one of the most renowned wine journalists in the country, named Leander Pink as one of 5 world-class English Wines you must try this summer. The full article can be found on National Geographic Traveller.
