The Digby Fine English sparkling wines are made from grapes grown across our portfolio of vineyards, in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset.
Grapes grown on different soils, in different regions, with different aspects facing the sun and unique microclimates, come together to form an artist’s palate of flavours and textures within the resulting base wines. Head Blender, Trevor Clough, then puts those colours together to create the joyful spectrum of Digby wines.
Digby co-founders Trevor Clough and Jason Humpries ranked the country’s existing vineyards to find the very best grapes for their sparkling wines. They selected a handful of vineyards, whose owners became Digby’s long term partners and we are proud to work with this fabulous community of growers to this day.
In 2021, Digby acquired its first fully-owned vineyard site in Hildenborough, Kent. Then in 2024, Digby took over another of its vineyard partners via a long-term lease.
