We are PLEASED to announce the release of Digby’s first ever Long-Aged vintage wine, 2010 Blanc de Noirs Brut.
Delightfully disrespectful, this wine entertains and wows in equal measure!
This is our first ever Blanc de Noirs which showcases the best Pinot red grapes from a decade ago. A white fizz made only with red grapes, it is a beautiful expression of what is unique about English wine, and deftly shows the magic of traditional method sparkling winemaking. A tiny amount of grapes of the highest quality were picked in 2010, gently pressed, hand vinified and have been gracefully aging to perfection in the cellars ever since.
This is a wine of fascinating contrasts and one with a roar! It starts with a delicate, creamy and refreshing nose that builds to a deep, rich and powerful finish, with intensity and weight on the palate.
With only 1,500 bottles created, this is the latest gem in the Digby crown.
Due to the limited production of the Blanc de Noirs Brut it will be a Digby exclusive and available only in the Tasting Room or by visiting our online store to place your order.
To Bishops and Brigands!
