Featuring vocals and tenor saxophone\, piano\, and bass\, the group creates a rich\, expressive sound that moves effortlessly between understated and more upbeat moments. Their approach is intuitive and responsive\, allowing the evening to unfold naturally\, whether as a relaxed backdrop or something a little more lively. \nThe trio is led by Andy King (vocals and tenor saxophone) and Jody Smith (piano)\, joined for this performance by Chaz Collett on bass. \nThroughout the evening\, snacks and our full menu will be available to order at your table\, so you can settle in and make a night of it. \nIf you’d like to start your evening a little earlier\, we recommend booking a table before 8pm to enjoy some fizz ahead of the music. \nSpaces are limited\, so advance booking is recommended.

DESCRIPTION:Clays and Corks is a fantastic new experience where guests can spend a wonderful afternoon in the heart of the beautiful Southdown National Park. \nIt’s a great opportunity to try your hand at clay target shooting at an award-winning ground. The session will be fully instructed\, with all equipment provided for those taking part. Once shooting has concluded\, guests can relax and take in the views with a chilled glass of wine from the Digby bar\, accompanied by a locally sourced venison barbecue provided by the Southdown Street Food Revolution team. \nWhat’s not to like? A summer’s day in the countryside\, trying a new sport\, then unwinding with fine English sparkling wine and a superb venison BBQ. It’s a great event to bring a partner to\, even if they just want to enjoy the wine! \nFor more experienced shooters\, there will be a 30-target competition\, with prizes of Digby sparkling wine awarded to both experienced participants and “have-a-go” entrants. \nThis is a members’ event for Digby and Southdown; however\, everyone is welcome to get involved and see what it’s all about.
